UK FRANCE ITALY SPAIN / Acorn Adventure
We are currently recruiting qualified and non-qualified outdoor activity instructors for our centres in the UK, France, Italy & Spain for the 2016 season.
Our teams of Activity Instructors deliver taster activity sessions and an evening entertainment programme to our guests.
If you have plenty of energy, enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to relate to young people and adults alike, Acorn is the company for you! We expect our staff to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, whilst delivering fun and safe activity sessions.
As part of the role, you will be required to interact daily with the guests and get involved in all aspects of centre life from cleaning and serving at meal times to site work.
If you enjoy mucking in and working hard whilst instructing in your preferred activity and also having the opportunity to get out and about in some fantastic locations with like-minded people, then we want you to apply!
We are ideally looking for people with experience of working in outdoor adventure with young people between 7-17 yrs old and with coaching qualifications in different activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, climbing, ropes, fencing.
Requirements
Ideally you will have NGB Coaching Qualifications i.e.
• BCU Level 2 Coach (Canoe or Kayak) or UKCC Level 1/2 Coach
• RYA Dinghy / Windsurf Instructor
• SPA / ML assessed (or trained)
• GNAS, BFA, BOF, NPLQ
All of our staff participate in a comprehensive induction & training programme at centre and there are pre and post-season training opportunities to gain NGB qualifications in different activities. We are looking for people who can commit to working the full season.
