Team members, play-workers and teachers required for a growing charity working with displaced children in Calais and Dunkirk

FRANCE / Project Play

Project Play is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic team members to help shape our growing charity. Our charity is based in Northern France and provides varied education and play sessions, 6 days a week, to some of the 250+ displaced children living in dire conditions there.

It is an exciting time to be joining our friendly and hard-working team as we continue to consolidate, improve and grow our service. Because we are a small team, there are many opportunities to develop your own teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills whilst gaining experience of working with children/ humanitarian aid.

Successful applicants will live and work with our wonderful close-knit volunteer team. We spend the mornings planning sessions and resourcing. In the afternoons, we head out in the field to conduct sessions which include education, play, sports and craft. We then come home and debrief before heading home for the evening. We are lucky enough to work alongside some other organisations in Calais and are part of a fantastic community of volunteers.

If you want to learn more about our service please see our website www.project-play.org or our Facebook – www.facebook.com/projectplayfrance.
