MOLDOVA / TEECH
The UK registered charity TEECH (www.teech.org) will be returning to Moldova, Eastern Europe from 10th to 24th August 2013. A team of volunteers (which you can be part of) will be installing toilets, sinks, urinals, hand driers, water heaters and painting and tiling within a school to create 2 bathrooms for the boys and girls. Currently there is no running water in the school let alone toilets. It is common for Moldovans to just use outside long drop style toilets but we think they deserve more. We do ask volunteers to cover their expenses of £450 plus contribute £200 to the cost of the project, but dont be put off by the cost take it as a challenge to fundraise for it!
