Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa (VPWA) is a volunteer-driven non-profit NGO based in Ghana.
VPWA is currently recruiting volunteers to work at our headquarters in Ofankor-Accra.
There are currently 6 available positions:
1. Project Development Assistant
2. Marketing Assistant
3. Administrative Assistant
4. Fundraiser/Grant writer
5. Event Organizer
6. Accounts and Finance Assistant
To be considered for any of the above positions, candidates must possess the ability to think critically and analitically about social problems as well as develop practical solutions.
Other general requirements include:
• A minimum commitment of 4 weeks.
• At least age 18 (no maximum age limit);
• Good knowledge of English language
• Strong commitment to values and principles of volunteerism;
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to adjust in difficult living and working conditions;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Project fee: 400 EUR per month.
Fees include:
– Accommodation and meals.
– Airport Pick Up.
– Placement
– 24 hour support contact services
– Pre-departure Orientation.
– Mobile phone SIM card number.
– Accra City tour
– Internet access (at VPWA’s HQ).
– Certificate of Recognition and an opportunity to serve as a VPWA ambassador in your city, college or community.
