This care centre encourages personal independence and assists children that require physical therapy and cognitive stimulation. The goal is to encourage the children to become as independent as possible, and in doing improving their quality of life.
The project seeks both professional and non professional volunteers to assist in many areas. Professional persons share their expertise in areas such as speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational and cognitive therapy, etc. Non professional persons who have skills are encouraged to take part in and teach arts and crafts, acting, basic computer applications, music, creative dance, yoga, etc. In addition to hands-on care-giving and teaching volunteers can also get involved in general management, which will give you a better understanding about issues concerning modern development, education and non-profit organizations.
Volunteers receive free accommodation and food.
