Travel to Asia and to the Indian state of Kerala, a region known for its beautiful canal backwaters and green, tropical vegetation. You will work alongside a team of international volunteers and local teachers to support orphans and disadvantaged children in their important early phases of educational and personal development.
Focusing on childcare, you will lead and assist in a range of fun educational lessons designed to improve the children’s English language skills. Your activities could include arts, sports, reading, drama or 1-to-1 sessions, giving you a well-rounded experience, while assisting the children in many different roles.
On completion of the volunteer phase, all your hard work will be rewarded with a 4-day cycling and trekking adventure tour that takes in some highlights of the surrounding area including Thattekad, Munnar, Meesapulimala and Lakeside.
