Programmes will address issues such as natural resource management, rural health and sustainable livelihood generation. You will carry out action research, peer-to-peer education, training, awareness raising and construction projects which will aim to affect change in these areas.

On returning to the UK, you will attend further training to help you to develop an Action at Home project, designed to raise awareness of development issues and inspire others to take action. This project must be completed within six months of your arrival back in the UK. To take part in the Raleigh ICS programme, you’ll need to apply online through the ICS website at ics-uk.org.uk stating Raleigh International as your chosen delivery agency.
