You must be a citizen of a European Community country with current driver’s license and competence to drive.
General housekeeping shopping and cooking duties. Assist with care of wife aged 60 with MS cognitive, 46 kgs. Other staff do most (not all) cleaning & ironing.
Find time for yourself, use the pool, a car, ranger, boat, Internet, telephone etc. as desired without charge.
Use of east tower with central heating being two rooms (one with satellite TV) and bathroom. Guests are welcome in your rooms from time to time.
Your salary is net of tax / employment charges with inclusion in the French Health system, no charge for board, lodging, telephone, internet, car use and reasonable quantities of alcohol, use of any Le Bédat facilities; and 15,000 euros p.a. (1,250 per month) net.
You will be expected to take 5 weeks holidays.
You will be located in a rural zone of south west France on a 192 Hectare estate with 155 Ha arable farmed organically, 27 Ha of forestry, a 6 Ha Lake, the residue being grounds to the Chateau. See www.lebedat.com
