As Chalet Chef you would work in one of our larger chalet properties and take responsibilities of all of the aspects of producing, and delivering the food within that property.
You will be a known face within the property to our customers, proactively taking part in the chalet welcome speech ensuring you have a good understanding of the customer’s dietary requirements.
You would ensure that your kitchen environment is a clean, tidy and efficient working space which meets not only company standards but also food and hygiene standards.
At Alpine Elements we look for our Chalet Chefs to be not only talented individuals but also friendly and enthusiastic characters who have a real passion for the mountains and what they do.
Duties and Responsibilities: (this list is not exhaustive!)
• Working with a pre-set menu plan to take over all responsibility of ensuring the preparation, cooking and serving of breakfast and a three course evening meal, 6 days a week.
• Ensuring the delivery of freshly baked afternoon cakes, 6 days a week.
• Creating a smooth running kitchen which is reflected in the organised and timely delivery of all meals.
• Being a positive and helpful representative of the company.
• Responsibility of ensuring the clearing and cleaning of the kitchen to meet company and food and hygiene standards.
• All stock control and ordering.
• To assume responsibility for the complete and accurate management of budgets.
• Delivering excellent customer service and constantly striving to exceed the customer’s expectations.
