An Insight to an ABSki nanny;
Working as a nanny in a ski resort can be one of the most rewarding jobs you will have. Like all season work there are peak weeks where we are very busy and off-peak weeks where we have time to enjoy being in the beautiful French Alps and get some well needed time on the mountain.
A full time nanny working for ABSki will be expected to be available all weeks of the season (unless otherwise agreed.), however they will not be working every week of the season. We run on a half and full week booking system. A full week will be 48 hours over 6 days with 8 consecutive hours per day. A half-week will be 24 hours over 6 days with 4 consecutive hours per day. There will be regular evening babysitting every week that you are required to be flexible and available for.
A part time nanny working for ABSki will be expected to be available for all of the peak weeks of the season plus some weeks on call over the season.
Full time nanny’s working for ABSki will not be permitted to accept work from other nanny agencies or companies while working for ABSki. Part-time nannies can take work outside of the previously agreed weeks.

An experienced nanny will arrive promptly at your door on the first day of your booking with; toys, crafts, activities and resources appropriately chosen to suit the age of your child.
Your nanny will then plan your child’s day, tailoring it to carefully fit both the needs of the child and family. Our nannies are totally flexible and can accommodate anything you want to include into your child’s day. For example If you wanted your nanny to meet with you for a family lunch, or meet you at the top of a bubble lift for that perfect photo opportunity, they would be delighted to do so.
After planning activities, your nanny will get straight to work on giving your child the fun holiday experience they deserve. Everything we do with your child will be either physically or mentally stimulating/engaging, ensuring that they enjoy every moment of their time with us.
After the time spent with your child, your nanny will talk you through the day and show you some of the things that your child has been engaging in, either through photos or any arts, crafts and masterpieces that your child has created.
All of our nannies will keep you involved in your child’s holiday experience, so you can feel confident that you are not missing out on anything!
