Fantastic Opportunity for a Professional Couple
The Alpine Club, now in its 9th year of business, are looking for a Professional Couple (Chef & Host) passionate about creating fabulous food and delivering exceptional service.
With guests who are used to fine dining cuisine and staying at luxury hotels we are looking for a professional couple who have a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude.
Our gorgeous chalets sleep a maximum of 10 guests which means you have the time to create amazing food, deliver a high quality service and go skiing.
We want the Chef to use their in-depth experience & skill to design their own creative, fine dining menus (we do not have set menus) and the Host to create a warm, welcoming chalet, with high attention to detail in all the chalet standards & presentation.
A Chauffeur/Resort Assistant supports each chalet. The Company Owners live and work in St Martin all year – which ensures you are fully supported and never left to work things out for yourselves if there are any problems.
We look forward to receiving applications from candidates who meet ALL of the following requirements.
-Chef must have a recognised catering qualification (City and Guilds 7061/2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent) and 2 years post qualification experience in professional kitchens in quality hotels, restaurants
-Host must have front of house service experience in quality restaurants or hospitality experience in good quality hotels
-Chef and Host both, ideally, able to drive
-Chef and Host both require a UK national insurance number & UK bank account
-You both must be over 23 (for vehicle insurance)
