We are a cultural organisation, officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, that organises English Summer Camps throughout Italy from early June to September.
We are looking for tutors to teach English in our day camps for Italian children aged 6-14. The camps run for 2 weeks. Our tutors teach in an interactive and fun way through games, songs, activities, etc. All materials are provided plus a free 5-day training course.
The camps are located throughout Italy-mostly Rome northwards
The position is paid – 450 euros net per 2-week camp plus full board and lodgings, accident insurance cover and travel to camps once in Italy.Travel to and from Italy is not included.
The hours are Mon – Fri 8.45am – 4.15pm
There are three sessions of camps – including training which is compulsory
Session 1:- 4th to 23rd June
Session 2:- 11th to 30th June
Session 3:- 20th August to 8th September
You MUST be a native English speaker with a bubbly character and a genuine interest in working with children. Italian is not required but useful. Preference is given to candidates with TEFL / TESOL certificate or equivalent and/or relevant experience. We also require:- flexibility, punctuality, tidiness, enthusiasm, creativity, leadership ability, teaching skills and management of outdoor activities.
