We are currently looking for Villa Manager and Chef Couples to work in the South of France for the summer.
Our chefs are responsible for preparing meals for guests according to their requirements and so need to be flexible, experienced and creative as each week can present a different challenge. The job includes budgeting, shopping, preparing, and cooking for guests for breakfast, afternoon tea, up to a 5 course evening meal and on occasion preparing lunch. Assisting the Chalet Host in all aspects of running the villa.
Although experience and qualifications are very important, a love of cuisine, exceptional hygiene and a flexible attitude are essential. The chalet manager is responsible for the efficient management and running of the chalet, the serving of meals, organising guest activities, helping with transport of guests within resort and generally ensuring that guests are being well cared for and all their needs are being met.
The job includes budgeting, accounting, billing, driving, and organising guests’ requirements, serving food & wine, booking restaurants, cleaning and generally managing the chalet. You will be responsible for ensuring the villa is spotless and well maintained. Customer service experience is vital along with a mature, caring attitude that shows that nothing is too much trouble for your guests.
