Looking for a trustworthy couple to make a new life for themselves in a beautiful and unspoilt part of France. The house has 62 hectares of parkland, woods and Lakes. In the grounds there are Deer, Wild Boar, Peacocks etc.
It is around 1 hour from the city of Tours and 30 minutes to two beautiful small towns, there is a small village with shops just a few minutes away.
Duties include looking after the house, the grounds (there are no formal gardens) and buildings including a swimming pool. Experience of handling garden machinery such as tractors, chain saw etc is an advantage, also basic maintenance skills in all the usual things required in looking after a large country house such as painting and carpentry etc.
The Owners occupancy is intermittent. You must be dog lovers as there will be dog-minding of 2 Large dogs.
You should have a Full driving licence, and be in good health. References are required and will be checked.
It is not a condition that you are French speaking but you should be able to speak English.
There is a spacious 2 bedroom house in the grounds included and use of a car, if required.
The position is immediately available and it is a long term position.
