Building Hubs
We are seeking a gardener, DIY-er, and all-round handyman at Life Itself.
We’ve recently acquired two properties in the Dordogne region in the south of France. The first is a group of residential and farm buildings in need of cosmetic and structural refurbishment (e.g. decorating, fitting kitchens, knocking down walls etc). The second is a 4-storey townhouse with a couple of cottages attached, spanning 750 sq metres in the centre of Bergerac. This property is deceptively spacious, and requires interior and exterior renovations (decorating, fixing leaks, moving furniture etc).
The goal is to turn these into beautiful spaces for our coliving communities — a core mission of Life Itself. We’re looking for somebody both idealistic in vision and practical in application, and invite applications from a variety of backgrounds, so long as they evidence an interest in, and aptitude for, building spaces from scratch!
As for the space, it’s beautiful. We live on the river Dordogne in the town of Bergerac, which blends historic architecture with modern amenities. You’d be hosted by us in our characterful townhouse, and have plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area.
