MAIN COURIER DUTIES
The main duty of campsite representatives is to liaise with each other, under the guidance of the campsite manager, in order to maintain high standards of accommodation, general help and guidance for the holidaymakers. On changeover days you will clean each accommodation thoroughly after the holidaymakers have vacated and make sure that any cleaning is carried out efficiently. The outside of the accommodation is as important as the inside. You should liaise with the site manager and other couriers when any help is necessary to maintain the accommodation at a high standard. All pots/ pans/cooking equipment must be totally clean, under beds dust free, pillows and bedcovers totally clean and dry and tables/chairs/parasols cleaned and checked for damage. Any equipment which needs replacing should be reported to the campsite manager.
On changeover days you will be expected to greet the incoming holidaymakers when requested by the campsite manager. The general wellbeing of the holidaymaker is a joint responsibility between all couriers with each courier doing their utmost to co-ordinate with each other to create a happy ambience.
CHILDREN’S COURIER DUTIES
Your duty is to organise and plan the daily children’s club and liaise with the campsite manager on the required plan of events which will operate for two hours in the morning Monday to Thursday. It is expected that you will be able to compile a full programme based over a two week period in order to entertain the children aged 4-14. You are responsible for all the children in your care. A register has to be operated to confirm the attendance of each child and it is your duty that each child is safe within the activity which they are carrying out.
You will be responsible for all of the equipment provided for you. Consumable items must be re-ordered by yourself by direct contact with campsite manager. The equipment used and the kids club gazebo has to be kept clean and safe at all times and this is your total responsibility. On your day off, the club activities have to be organised in advance and agreed with the campsite manager.
GENERAL CAMPSITE DUTIES
When not actively cleaning the equipment, you will be expected to help in the general running of the site.
You will be expected, at the discretion of the campsite manager, to help on a rota system with the reception area. This will include providing information to holidaymakers, booking in and out various hire equipment, and dealing with general enquiries.
EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
Evening entertainment is a necessary part of the Bolero holiday and you will be asked to help as and where necessary by the campsite manager, this is usually a weekly BBQ night You will also be asked to help with cleaning/tidying of the entertainment area after the BBQ night under the supervision of the campsite manager.

The holiday season at Union Lido runs from May until September and the team normally work from March till October so we need you to be flexible with dates and happy to work abroad for an extended period of time.
