The immaculate daily presentation of our chalets is one of the most fundamental elements of our luxury service. Our Housekeepers take pride in delivering the highest standards of cleaning and attention to detail on a daily basis. Our Housekeepers typically work across two properties each day to support the core chalet teams in all aspects of housekeeping, with a focus on achieving immaculate presentation within the guest rooms.

The role is led and supported within each property by the Assistant Chalet Managers, however there are also large periods of time where the Housekeepers work independently so confidence and autonomy are important attributes.

Essential Attributes:

Prior housekeeping experience – most likely through work in a commercial accommodation environment for example a bed and breakfast, hotel or within a private household role.
Able to work independently and under the direction of Management.
Good communication and team-working skills
Organised and well-presented with an excellent eye for detail.
Physically fit and able to cope with the demands of the role.
Affinity with The Boutique Chalet Company brand and the luxury travel industry.
EU Passport and/or the right to live and work in France.

Desirable Attributes:

Extended housekeeping experience in a 5 star hotel or comparable hospitality environment.
Previous full time employment in professional housekeeping context.
Previous seasonal housekeeping experience (ski / villa / yacht).
Conversational/fluent French language skills.
Full, clean, driving license valid within the EU and held for at least
2 years with regular driving experience.

Based in Morzine, Les Gets and Chamonix.

5 day shifts with 2 days off per week.
