Our professional client is currently looking to recruit a governess for her boy aged 9 and two girls aged 6 & 6 months based in the area of Umbria, Near Perugia, North Italy. The role is a full time position for 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. The role Is structured around the school day as the governess will need to start work in the mornings and ensure that the older children are prepared for school. The governess will then take them to school so they arrive at approximately 8am. From 8.30am until 3.00 pm the governess will be free. The working day will then continue at 3:00pm when the older children shall be collected and taken home.
The role requires the governess to take the children to any after school activities that they participate in. Both older children are very academic but also enjoy sporting activities such as riding their bikes, football, ballet. gymnastics.. Music is also a large part of the extra curricular activities. The governess shall ensure that the evening routine is followed; this includes checking homework is being completed and they are prepared for the following day. The ideal candidate will have experience with children, will be fun yet responsible. All household duties are carried out by a live-in full-time housekeeper.
Our client would prefer applicants to have formal child care qualifications be it a child care diploma or teaching qualification. Applicants MUST be a driver and use of car is given. Private self contained apartment provided. Requirements: MUST have a full clean Driving license, Must be have proven live-in experience. Working hours: 7:00am-8:30am, 3:00pm-9.30pm Monday-Friday Maximum Five nights babysitting during the week. Salary: € 415.00 p/w, negotiable, net.
