A lovely French/American elderly lady living in the seaside town of Ouistreham in Lower Normandy in FRANCE seeks two live in au pairs/helpers. The lady has Parkinsons disease and while mobile is a bit unbalanced and needs taking out on walks, making sure she doesn’t fall and that she takes her daily medication. It is with all of this in mind that she is looking for 2 au pairs to live with her so that she can have quasi full-time company and assistance. Each au pair will be expected to work for 31.5 hours/week so the help is shared equally and each can have time off during the day and on weekends.
The lady lives in a 3 bedroom detached house just 50 metres from the seafront and close to all the facilities. Eacha au pair will have her own fully furnished bedroom. Drivers needed. The family are looking for two au pairs, ideally friends, who can already speak intermediate French and are interested in improving their level of French.
There are French classes in Caen just 15 minutes drive from the house. Applicants from the European Union will be considered. Pocket money for each au pair is £120/week or €140/week. Start by 24 August for 6 months. The elderly lady daughter is in London until 28 July and would love to meet prospective applicants face to face!
