WorkingAbroad Blog Writer

ONLINE / WorkingAbroad.com

WorkingAbroad: one of the pioneers in worldwide volunteering and #1 Google ranking for volunteering abroad searches. We work with international NGO’s at the forefront of wildlife and habitat conservation; environmental education, teaching and community development projects.

We are actively looking for individuals to join our dynamic team, to help us research and write content for the WorkingAbroad blog (www.workingabroad.com/blog)

As a blog writer, you will need to have a spirit of inquiry and research trending topics to produce absorbing blog material. We are not just looking for the “10 things to do in..” kind of blogs, but high quality relevant content about conservation, development, politics and anything in between that can be related to our volunteer projects/destinations and are trending at the time of writing.

We are looking for applicants who are able to produce at least one quality blog post per month and who are fully fluent in English.

What you will receive by joining our team as a blog writer is a recognition of your writing – your work will be accessed and viewed by thousands of visitors weekly on our website, and across our social media and other online channels. All your work will be accredited to you as a writer. You will also receive a listing on our website as a member of our WorkingAbroad team. This is a distinct opportunity to gain practical knowledge and contribute to the international NGO community.

If you would like to apply, please send an email to aaron@workingabroad.com outlining why you would like to fill this position, and an example of your previous writing, if applicable. We will review all applications and get back to you. Please note this is an unpaid position.

Expires: Dec 1, 2017
