AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHINA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Overall responsibilities:
• Conducting research to identify market trends, and events to assist Member Companies with Strategy decisions
• Promoting AmCham events in the expat communities
• Upload regular events information into AmCham online system
• On-site assistance for events registration, greeting people and facilities testing
• Content Research for publications
• Prepare contents for local bilingual magazines on a monthly basis
• Internal meeting arrangements, minute-taking and dissemination
• Other miscellaneous tasks upon request
Qualifications:
• native English speaker
• self- motivated, passionate and team spirit
• good organizational skills
• ability to multi-task and work independently under deadline
• proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word) is a requirement
• related working experience is a plus
• knowledge of written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
TRANSPORT, LOGISTICS, AND SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNSHIP – MANAGEMENT TRAINEE
Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Actively participant in all MT Training Program, complete all courses and processes
2. Undertake difference job positions in several months or a year, such as a Site Keeper, Statistician, Branch Supervisor, assist Account Manager, and fulfill the job role with good performance.
3. With the support of the Operation/Commercial department head, execute the continuous improvement and other efficiency improvement programs.
4. Assist both business development and account management teams in securing new business including assisting with costs and market intelligence.
5. Assist country management team, lead and/or execute the companywide program, such as Charity, Team Building, Training, etc.
6. Conduct the company culture and values and impact good influence to surrounding
Experience And Skill Requirements:
1. High level of personal and professional integrity and business ethics
2. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (including but not limited to supply chain, logistics, transportation, operations engineering, finance, or Economics)
3. Students currently enrolled in University can also apply
4. Strong strategic thinking, analytical and decision-making skills.
5. Self-motivated with proven ability to contribute to new ventures with a willingness to commit to long-term projects.
6. Excellent oral/written communication skills with strong team interpersonal and team building skills.
7. Approximately 50%-60% travel required with-in China.
