This unique lodging – the only houseboat in the Panama Canal – offers a unique way of experiencing the Canal. The captain is looking to fill two different positions. Firstly, a couple to manage the lodge part of the business during the tourist high season (approximately November 2013 to April 2014). One of the two should know their way around the kitchen to help train kitchen staff. Secondly, two interns who would like to train as guides in Panama. Ideally, college/univeristy students studying biology or environment. As one of the top tour operators in Panama, this is once in a lifetime opportunity to work as a guide in the Panama Canal, surrounded by wildlife, huge vessels and exotic flora.
Both the couple and the interns receive free lodging on the houseboat and all meals The couple also receive a salary.
