SkiBound – SkiBound is a tour operator which has been specialising in group travel to European and North American destinations for decades. SkiBound operate a number of ClubHotels in France operated by mainly British staff. In other countries reps accompany groups to and from their destination and cater for their needs during their stay. ABTA – The Association of British Travel Agents comprises 2300 member companies in the UK. ABTA’s search facility, by destination or activity, is a handy tool for finding addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and websites of tourism organisations such as ski tour operators.

AnyworkAnywhere – Recruitment site that can help with ski jobs.

Base Camp – Run ski and snowboard instructor courses in Meribel, Whistler, Verbier and other ski resorts. The courses include freestyle, racing and freeride training as well as first aid courses, avalanche courses and ski and snowboard tuning clinics. Base Camp aim their courses at those looking for a career change, on a gap year or taking time out from work.

British Association of Ski Instructors – Offer a gap style course as a practical way to gain a ski or snowboard qualification in one season. BASI currently organizes courses in France, Andorra, Switzerland, Italy and the UK. They’ve a job board too.

Club Europe Holidays – Concert tours, school travel and ski tours. Employment information is no longer available but, for ski tours, the previous deal was Club Europe employed students on an ad hoc basis to accompany groups to Italy, France and Austria. Proficiency in German, French or Italian and reasonable skiing ability is essential.  Applicants should feel confident in handling emergency situations, be excellent communicators and highly organised.

Cool Ski Jobs – A job board and blog. Look for work by resort or on the main board.

Crystal Holidays – Offers a variety of ski holidays and employ  staff in Europe and North America. The majority of staff are required from the end of November to the middle of April, but some additional staff may be required once the season has started. Part of the TUI group.

Equity Travel – Employ around 100 people each year in hotels and resorts throughout Europe.

Erna Low – This long established ski tour operator used to display current vacancies on their site but this seems to be no longer the case.

Esprit Holidays – Winter work from 1st December until 30th April. Pocket money wage plus lift pass, ski hire, accommodation, uniform and medical insurance are provided.

FindaSkiJob.com – Ski season jobs.

First Choice – Very large tourist operator. Now with jobs on site, they recruit for both summer and winter positions.

Flexiski – Specialise in tailor made chalet and hotel ski breaks for both private and corporate clients. Overseas positions are based in St Anton in Austria or Courchevel in France, amongst other destinations.

Headwater Holidays – Recruit overseas reps and instructors who are prepared to be on call 24 hours a day and willing to tackle any emergency. Headwater operate activity holidays in Europe and require cross country ski instructors from December to March.

Mark Warner – Recruit over 1,500 staff for the Alps and the Med each year. Applicants must be over 19 and hold an EU passport.

Mountain Heaven – An independent family run company with chalets and apartments for rent in ski resorts in France and Switzerland. The company starts looking for staff for the following season even before the current one has ended.

Neilson Ski – Neilson is dedicated to providing active holidays in the winter with ski and snowboard programmes and have over two decades of experience in operating active holidays worldwide. A wide range of vacancies for the up-coming season.

Peak Leaders – Ski and Snowboard Instructor courses in Canada, New Zealand and South America. Ex military personel are particularly welcomed.

PGL Ski – Britain’s largest provider of activity courses for children recruits ski staff to accompany school groups and individual children to ski resorts across Europe. Each year PGL employ over 100 winter seasonal staff to work on a part time basis.

PlanetSki – Has a simple aim to entertain and inform skiers and snowboarders about life in the mountains, carrying news stories, features, video reports and photos.

Powder Byrne – PB have an online job application and job description section with vacancies for summer and winter work. Also, they run a four week, nine week and full season gap year ski instructor course, Piste to Profession.

Rocket Ski – Ski and snowboard holidays in France, Austria and Italy. Their winter recruitment requirements include chalet staff, hotel staff, chefs, reps, bar staff and porters, though there isn’t careers information on their new website. EU nationals only.

Scott Dunn – Having closed their chalet operation, the company no longer recruit chalet hosts, chefs or drivers. Instead, the focus is on childcare professionals and managers working in a luxury hotel in either Courchevel 1850 or Val d’Isere.

VIP Ski – Ski tour operator providing luxury chalet holidays in the French Alps, Switzerland and Austria.

YSE Limited – YSE is the biggest specialist chalet operator in Val d’Isère, France requiring a team of qualified chefs, keen cooks and assistants to run chalets from six to 60 guests, from November to May. British passport holders only.
