Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa (VPWA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit NGO based in Ghana.
VPWA believes that an efficient waste management is key to achieve a Malaria Free society.
We are currently recruiting professionals willing to share their best waste management policies and practices. Candidates will be given the opportunity to work hand in hand with decision-makers in the area.
This opportunity is open for professionals as well as students.
Candidates are required to stay for a minimum of 2 months.
Other general requirements:
• At least age 18 (no maximum age limit);
• Good knowledge of English language
• Strong commitment to values and principles of volunteerism;
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to adjust in difficult living and working conditions;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Project fee: 400 EUR per month.
Fees include:
– Accommodation and meals.
– Airport Pick Up.
– Placement
– 24 hour support contact services
– Pre-departure Orientation.
– Mobile phone SIM card number.
– Accra City tour
– Internet access (at VPWA’s HQ).
– Certificate of Recognition and an opportunity to serve as a VPWA ambassador in your city, college or community.
