WORLDWIDE / Kaya Responsible Travel
Volunteers are needed on over 180 different Kaya Projects across Asia, Africa and Latin America to help improve lives and environments in the world’s developing nations.
There are volunteer placements that need the help of skilled participants or people training in a specific arena, such as medical, agricultural, construction, business, tourism, management, teaching, media and conservation, and many more projects that just need the patience, enthusiasm and involvement of committed volunteers to get the work done. Project lengths vary from 2 weeks up to 6 months, depending on how much time individuals have to spare. Some examples of the projects we are currently involved with include:
•Education – Teaching adults and children in fields including English, Maths, Science, Arts, Computing, Business skills and vocational training.
•Health – With projects including Medical Practice, Care, Research and Education across all the specialities and disciplines of medicine.
•Community development – A broad number of fields including journalism, ecotourism, legal work, business, cultural development and many more.
