SOUTH AFRICA / MTB-South Africa
We are looking for volunteers who are travelling through South Africa to come and spend sometime with us, at our plot 10 kms from Nelspruit (35kms from Kruger National Park). The work will involve MTB trail clearing/maintaining. These trails are on a game farm and you can ride amongst the game.
We have a 5 hectare plot, which this year we want to open for camping and a cafe. There’s lots of bushveld to be cleared. A whole variety of skills are needed, including building, plumbing, mozaics and murals to be painted etc. We are ‘off the grid’ and run by solar power, we grow our own vegetables and offer a back to basics/simple lifestyle.
So if anybody would like to come and help us, they are welcome. We offer food and accommodation in exchange for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We have been volunteers ourselves in the past.
