This private game reserve is situated on a rocky promontory surrounded by thorn trees which gives you the classic bushveld atmosphere. The reserve has been a haven for wildlife since 1986 and at the heart of this reserve is protection and conservation of the natural habitat and wildlife. What is so fascinating about this nature reserve? It is the breeding project that consists of lions, tigers & jaguars, whereby YOU get the opportunity to work with these beautiful carnivores, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Working for this project means that you will enjoy hands on volunteer work with young lions & tigers and cubs, like raising the cubs by hand (age varies between 3 weeks and 8 months old) & feeding & caring for the animals. Bottom line; you will be involved in all the day-to-day activities for this reserve.
If you have a passion for animals, especially for ‘big cats’, then this project will make your dream come true. For a couple of weeks, you will have the chance to become a caretaker for these amazing animals in South Africa, where you will be able to see the sun set and hear a Lion’s roar at night…
