Travel to the USA, an exciting and diverse country rich in natural resources, wide open spaces and the great outdoors! Traveling to the town of Mims, close to Orlando, Florida this specially designed volunteer trip works on a unique wildlife rehabilitation program, focusing on the care of the iconic yet endangered mustang horse.
You will play a fully hands-on role at the rescue centre in the rehabilitation of wild, neglected and abused mustang horses. Even over the short term, it is possible to see a radical difference in a horse in just a week, making your contribution instantly visible.
This program does not require any particular skills as all your training and instruction will be provided prior to tasks by fully qualified members of staff at the rescue centre.
