Dracula Danes Estate is a family run resort, located in Danes, Transylvania, with 30 horses offering horse riding lessons to both adults and children. The estate is looking for an experienced riding instructor to teach riding skills to the hotel customers at the Equestrian Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the general care of the horses on-site, including feeding, watering, grooming, tacking, and health-care requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the barn and facility in good working order on a daily basis including cleaning stalls, water buckets, and water troughs; keeping the tack room, feed room, rest room and the barn in general neat and organized
• To teach riding lessons to the hotel customer’s ensuring they remain safe and find the experience enjoyable and rewarding.
Essential skills:
• Demonstrable experience or Recognised Qualifications
• Willing to adapt to a new culture
• Motivated
• Good Communicator
• Pleasant outgoing personality
• Ability to interact with clients
Desirable skills:
• Proven experience outside UK (preferable but not necessary)
Traveling to Romania
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the costs associated with flights to and from Romania. Direct flights are available from Luton airport to Targu Mures airport. Targu Mures is 45 km away from Danes where the resort is located. Transport to and from Targu Mures to Dracula Danes Estate will be provided. An English speaking member of the team will provide assistance at the airport.

• English is the second language taught to Romanian children at school
A Day in the life of a Riding Instructor at Dracula Danes Estate
• 7:00 – Stalls Cleaning and Horse Feeding
• 9:00 – Breakfast at the hotel
• 10:00 – 13:00 – Horse dressage/training / teach riding lessons
• 13:00 – 14:00 – 1 hour lunch break
• 14:00 – 18:00 – Teach riding lessons
• 18:00 – Stalls Cleaning and Horse Feeding
• 19:00 – Dinner at the hotel
• 20:00 – Free time
