St John Kenya was formed in 1928, is a charitable organization established by Cap 259 of the Laws of Kenya. The organization is humanitarian, non-political and non-profit making.
Our Mission: To provide First Aid, care and emergency services to all humanity irrespective of their colour, class or creed and to create and enhance the capacity of the society to care for its health needs.
We require Paramedic volunteers to assist mainly our regional offices as well as our headquarters in Nairobi. St John ambulances are frequently called to emergencies including road traffic accidents, fires etc. All assistance provided in emergency settings is free of charge.
There are also options for short-term volunteering in professional capacities that volunteers may pursue.
We can make arrangements for airport pick-up, accommodation and meals for the duration of the placement at a fee or the volunteer can make their own arrangements.
