We are a not-for-profit organisation based in Devon in South West England running UK and European training projects that help people achieve their goals for nature, science, education and employment.
We’re currently looking for lovely and enthusiastic volunteers to help us with the improvement and maintenance of our market garden as well as general duties across our organic farm.
On the farm we also host a charity that helps adults with learning difficulties who engage in our fulfilling agricultural activities and the daily running of the farm. So there’s always lots of exciting things happening.
While some gardening skills would be preferable, we are able to provide training for the work you’ll be doing. What’s most important to us is that you share our passion for organic growing, nature conservation, and working outdoors.
We will also be able to provide training in our organic practices, using tools and equipment as well as wildlife conservation.
We’re situated 2.5 miles from the bohemian, market town of Totnes, which is famous for its independent shops and alternative minded community. If you don’t have a car then you can easily reach town via the cycle/foot path that passes through fields and along the river Dart.
Free food and accommodation in our cosy bunkhouse provided! Minimum stay of 2 weeks preferred.
