Vanuatu, located between Fiji and Australia, includes 83 islands known for their untouched beaches, active volcanoes and clear waters are a popular tourist destination in the South Pacific. Its friendly people have been voted the happiest people on earth. However, there exists another side to paradise in Vanuatu. The country is classified by the United Nations as a Needy Developing Nation and one of the 50th poorest nations in the world.
Volunteers in Vanuatu work alongside a non-profit community association dedicated to cultural, community and business development in Vanuatu. This programme partners with Government, village chiefs and councils, business, schools, churches, community groups, families and individuals with the aim to bring awareness, intervention and solutions for some of the needs of the people of Vanuatu.

You can volunteer in Vanuatu for 1 week up to 1 month in duration. We also have longer term internship positions available for periods of 1 month up to 12 months.
Individuals, groups and students are all welcome.
The cost for accommodation, food, visas, transportation when at the project, starts at £620.
