ECUADOR / Volunteer Latin America
This project is located in beautiful subtropical jungle, surrounded by a vast array of flora and fauna, including over 1000 species of orchids. There are also a number of spectacular rivers and waterfalls nearby. Volunteer positions include helping with and learning about vegetarian cooking, organic agriculture and nutrition, environmentally friendly construction/design projects, yoga, meditation, philosophy, and working with art and educational programs for the children living in and around the community. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join the Ashram. This is a good opportunity to make new friends and experience a rainforest environment.
The project costs £35 per week or £125 per month which includes 3 vegetarian meals a day (vegan and raw food available as well), a single or double room, and hot water showers.
