New Beats Media is a well respected and exciting Music and Entertainment website offering reviews, interviews and much more. As well as the current website, Team NBM will be launching a new periodic online magazine.
We are looking for Head Journalists for the new magazine and current website.
We cater for all music tastes but at the moment we are looking for the following genres and their subsiding genres.
Alternative
Dance
Hip-Hop/Rap
Electronic
Indie
Pop
R&B
Rock
Classical
We are also open to ones on the list so if you have a specific interest let us know and we will fit it in.
This is a purely volunteering role and is designed to fit around studies or any paid work.
What will you do as a head journalist at NBM
* Conduct interviews with bands and musicians
* Write reviews of live shows and CD reviews
* Provide ideas for features
* Adhere to assignment deadlines
* Promote articles via social media
* Carry out basic editorial work

To be part of the NBM journalist team you do not need any previous experience but for the head journalist role previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
