SRI LANKA / SVS School for English
Are you about to take a gap year? Not sure where to go? How about a tropical island in the Indian Ocean?
Take an extended tropical holiday and volunteer your services teaching English in a charity school. The SVS School for English gives you the opportunity to help those in need while gaining valuable experience and broadening your horizons. We provide food and accommodation free of charge, all you have to pay for is your plane ticket to Sri Lanka.
• Typically, we ask for a commitment of six months, although three months will be considered
• Accommodation is provided free of charge. Teachers live in a large, spacious house very close to a popular local beach.
• Teachers are provided with basic food requirements (i.e. three meals a day). A stipend for expenses will be provided.
• Teachers work twenty hours a week for one term and thirty hours a week for the second term.
