Volunteer at Resource and Rehabilitation Centre

CENTRAL AMERICA / Volunteer Latin America

This project tackles the issue of disability with people from rural communities (indigenous people); running programs on rehabilitation, social inclusion, information and prevention of any kind of disability (physical, intellectual or psycho-social). Volunteers can participate in all the daily activities of the centre: help out in the kitchen, garden, maintenance, paper recycling workshop, handicraft store, care for young adults with severe disabilities, therapy and other CBR activities. Volunteers must be interested in disability issues; however, experience in these topics is not a requirement.

Volunteers receive free board and lodging if staying for 6 months or more. Volunteers are responsible for their own living expenses if staying for shorter periods.
