Volunteer at Kanduyi children’s home in rural Kenya

Kanduyi Children’s Home cares for close to 50 kids at any one time. The home is located in Bungoma town, Western Kenya, a small town where there is a high number of orphans and vulnerable children, but very little help offered. Kanduyi Children’s Home, part of the Child Welfare Society of Kenya, gives these children the hope of a better life and an education. Work involves taking care of the babies, washing and cleaning them, and helping out with all other chores in the home. Kanduyi also has its own vegetable garden and animals to help provide for the children.
