This is a school about 6km from Siem Reap on the countryside. We have about 280 students and a library. At the moment, there are four teachers and we can speak English nearly perfectly.
You would teach English to the kids and help improving the English of the teacher. You would work two hours in the morning and three in the afternoon. If you want, you can help the kids plant vegetables.
You would stay with a local family for which should pay 50$ per week for three meals per day – breakfast, lunch and dinner. The village has electricity and you can use Internet here as well and the people are poor but you will experience real village life. On the weekends, we can show you around, visit the temples around Angkor, and go to Siem Reap city. You can also go fishing in the river nearby or see the rice fields around the village.
