NEPAL / Global Vision International
This Nepalese volunteer adventure combines a month of volunteer work with a two-week trek to Everest Base Camp. You will spend a month living with a local family and helping on a variety of challenging, worthwhile and fun volunteer programs. On the projects you may get involved with the community at a youth center, teach at local schools or work at an orphanage. You also have opportunities to explore the area and have language lessons.
At the end of the first four weeks volunteers will be briefed on the trek to base camp. The next day you fly to Lukla and commence the 14-day return trip that takes you on an amazing adventure through some of the most breathtaking landscapes on the planet to the base camp of Mount Everest.
