The American University of Vietnam is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Vice President to initiate an enrollment and marketing strategy for a new, private American-style university.

Candidate qualifications:
– Terminal degree from an accredited US university like-no-other.
– Undergraduate teaching experience.
– Working and living experience in and comfort with the cultures of Southeast Asia.
– Prior leadership experience with young, entrepreneurial institutions in the US or abroad.
– Flexibility.
The position will be initially based in Ho Chi Minh City and in fall 2011 Danang City with oversight of the other academic centers. The academic program of the university will include a strong general education curriculum, along with pre-professional and professional programs in business (entrepreneurship), hospitality management, communication, nursing, and sustainability/environment.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in building from the start a unique private university in one of the most interesting and rapidly growing countries in the world, Vietnam.
