JOB 01 – Tamshui Harbor MRT Elementary & Secondary School Position
Contract period – Around one year, renewable
Curriculum – EFL (collaborating-teaching involved)

Monthly salary Around 65000 NTD,
Monthly costs of living (food, rent, transportation, etc.) in Taiwan is around 700-900 USD, depends on how one spend money

Tax-the tax rate of the first 183 days in one taxable year is 18 %. The tax rate would drop lower to around 6 % after the completion of 183 days in one taxable year. Foreign tax payers would be eligible for tax refund when their overall stay is over 183 days in one taxable year.
Mon-Fri 8am-4:00pm, 20-25 class weekly, 40-50 min per class (vary in accordance with school)
JOB 02 – Taipei MRT, Private K-12 school needs 3 Subject teachers
Starting time – July 2012
Contract lease – Around one year, renewable (school usually decides renewal two months in advance)

Salary & Benefits:
1) Salary NT$65,000 per month.
2) School do provide housing.(teacher only pat for water and power bill)
3) Nation laborer insurance and health insurance .provided. Only $5 USD to get your teeth cleaned! teacher is required to enroll in the National Health Insurance Policy and the Labor Insurance Program, and is obligated to pay, in accordance with the laws, at his/her own expense, a portion of the insurance premium in an amount equal to 35% of the total premium charged to him/her under the National Health Insurance Policy.
4) Contract period:12 months.
5) Working week: Monday to Friday.
6) Teaching Hour: average 5hr/ day max.
7) Working hours: AM 08:00 ~ PM 17:00.
8) Student’s age: G1~G9
9) Size of class: 28~42 kids.
10) Work permit & alien resident
Qualifications:
Native-speaker from U.S.A., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland
Minimum Education: 4 years Bachelor’s degree
Certified teacher with teaching license (government-certified)
