ASIA & SOUTH AMERICA / Youth International
Description: Youth International is an experiential learning program that combines international travel, inter-cultural exchange, adventure, volunteer community service work, and homestays.
Teams of up to 14 people between the ages of 18 and 25 travel together and explore South America (Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador) or Asia (Thailand, India, Vietnam).
Through a balanced combination of experiences, each Youth International team member is set up for an intense and dynamic first-hand education about the region in which they are travelling. At the same time, they are presented with a unique environment and opportunity for self-discovery.
Each Youth International group is led by two experienced team leaders. The leaders are people with extensive backgrounds in experiential education and with extraordinary experience living, travelling, working, and studying in the countries they lead.
Youth International is looking for Team Leaders for South America (Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador) and Asia (Thailand, India, Vietnam).
Responsibilities:
• Train group members for participation in the program
• Handle day to day logistics while on the road
• Counsel teams members through developing world learning experiences
• Develop and maintain functional team while leading individual growth during a variety of community service and adventure programs and activities
Qualifications:
• Have extensive experience, travelling, living, studying, volunteering and/or working in the region that the group travels through (Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador)
• Have experience working with and leading groups
• Strong Spanish language skills needed for South America

Compensation: All expenses paid for, including all flights, travel costs, living costs and medical expenses while overseas. Plus a stipend ranging from US$500 to US$1000 per month based upon experience
