Teach English in Sunny Spain

SPAIN / Almondbury

Start now as an English Conversation Assistant in Spain (located in a school within the regions of Catalonia or Valencia), or apply for the next program starting in September 2015. You will be under the supervision of a qualified teacher in a formal academic teaching environment following the Spanish school curriculum. You will have the opportunity to gain professional English teaching experience whilst at the same time learning Spanish through an online course provided by the Institute of Cervantes (Spanish equivalent to the British Council). You will have the support of a language tutor who will guide you through the course and monitor your progress. When you have completed the program which finishes on the 19th of June 2015, you will receive a certificate of completion from the CAPS program, a professional reference that you can add to your curriculum or give to prospective employers and also a certificate stating the level of Spanish you have acquired,

You will be fully immersed in the Spanish culture and way of life as you will live with a host family. Your expenses will be covered (accommodation, food, transportation to and from the school) and you will also receive a monthly grant. You will spend 25 classroom hours per week in the school and you will have the opportunity to accept extra paid work (private tutoring, conversation practice, etc…) during your free time and school holidays if you wish. You need to be a native English speaker and educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent. What a constructive way to spend the rest of this academic year.
