UGANDA / Ethical Encounters
Would you like to do some voluntary work in Africa? Do you like working with children or working harder? Then volunteer in Uganda– come and be part of an exciting project, helping with children in an orphanage, remote area and rural school.
Extra hands are always needed to help maintain order, fun and learning! You could find yourself helping with kids in an orphanage, taking a class or assisting a teacher, or you could be using your hands to help rebuild local communities on contrustion/renovation projects. Whatever your contribution, volunteering in Uganda will be a richly rewarding experience for you and will greatly help the children there.
Every volunteer is greatly appreciated, no matter how manual a task may seem – even supervising meal times or play times is very important and you will come to love these children, who are very affectionate and keen to please.
If you would like to get stuck in, are resourceful and would like the freedom and flexibility to try out your own ideas, volunteering could be just the thing for you. No teaching , building or childcare experience is needed to be successful on these projects.
All projects are on site so no travelling is needed to volunteer each day.
Accommodation is in comfortable, basic, typical African-style huts. Local project staff provides support and advice.
In your free time, why not go and enjoy the spectacular wildlife and white water experiences or go gorilla trekking with ÉÉ’s adventure trips organised with our most proud tours guiding team. With ÉÉ’s organised trips, you get to experience more of the true Africa rather than just a textbook tour.
