GREECE / The Red Lion
Are you looking to work abroad this summer? 3 vacancies are open at the Red Lion pub, located in Rhodos, Greece. I am looking for both male and females preferably from England aged between 18-30, to work behind the bar and inside the pub over the summer. The pub opens mid April all the way to October and applicants must be able to work a minimum on 3 months within this period.
The job responsibilities will be taking orders, making drinks, handling cash and cleaning. Fluency in English is a must with any extra languages being an added bonus due to the variety of tourists that visit (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, UK, Swedish etc.). Hours of work will be 8:25pm to the latest 6am, days off will be decided when the team is present in the summer.
The requirements for applications are hard working, over 18, available for at least 3 months work, fluent English and a friendly positive work attitude. Rhodos is a lovely place to work over summer and the pub receives a great variety of customers, each week with a new batch. The work is typical of summer jobs in bars (lots of drinking and banter), 2 free alcoholic drinks are provided per night with extra staff priced drinks available.
Pay is above the average competitive salaries in this area but will only be discussed with applicants directly. Roughly, its more than easy to work for 3 months and earn enough to have a great time and cover the cost of flight there, back, accommodation and still return with a decent amount of euros (600 myself). Before applying please be aware successful applicants must pay for their own travel to the job, however information on workers apartments will be provided, so cheap accommodation can be sorted.
To apply, please contact 07807491232 (English number) or facebook (www.facebook.com/Jim87878) before the 1st of May.
Nationalities Accepted: EU nationals only
Expires: May 1, 2015
