Southern African Explorer

SOUTH AFRICA / Global Vision International

Would you like to learn about conservation in some of the best wildlife locations on Earth or would you rather help provide education to underprivileged children? On GVIs ‘Volunteer Explorer’ you can do both! You will spend 5 weeks participating in a wildlife research expedition in the Limpopo province of South Africa, after which you will assist at an orphanage for 4 weeks in a township outside Cape Town. In addition to this you will spend a further 2 weeks in Namibia protecting and tracking the elusive desert elephant.

This trip allows you to enjoy a mixture of different projects and countries and offers you the opportunity to explore the region in-between your time on each program. You will arrange the travel/flights from one location to the next, allowing you more flexibility and the option to build these worthwhile programs into your travel itinerary.
