Waterfront Restaurant – Russell – Bay of Islands – New Zealand We are a 82 seater restaurant, regarded as a leading establishment in the region. The service style is relaxed and contemporary…. we call it Casual Fine Dining.

We are looking for a passionate, driven and enthusiastic Sous Chef who has the ability to promote and consistently deliver high quality, contemporary fresh food.

You will need to have high standards in food preparation, presentation, be able to lead a team, be able to work and deliver under pressure. The role also involves menu planning, stock control, cost control, assisting the Head Chef in all the day to day kitchen operations, running and being responsible for the kitchen operations in the absence of the Head chef.

You should have a minimum of at least 4 years experience in the kitchen and demonstrated experience within a similar position.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
