I am an Australian, ex high school teacher. My husband and I feed, vaccinate and neuter street dogs and cats in our part of Colombo city. We also maintain a refuge for 30 dogs outside Colombo. We have local staff to do the main work of cooking, feeding and cleaning. But we need a responsible, reliable animal-lover to help with maintaining a cat cafe close to our house, walking our home dogs, buying food and medicines and generally being on-call in case of medical emergencies. If you love animals and you don’t mind getting up early, this is the job for you.
You will have your own air-conditioned room with broadband Internet connection,television,and en-suite bathroom. Use this job as a base to explore Sri Lanka. Australians or New Zealanders preferred. Airfares and visas from Australia or New Zealand provided. You will be paid weekly pocket-money of AUD 250.
