Do you want to become our star receptionist, love skiing and speak German?

The reception at Ski Lodge is the hub of the hotel, and you are the first and last person our guests meet. Your job involves everything from taking reservations, revealing secret powder stashes for curious guests and everything in between that can make our guest’s stay just a little bit better. Your personality is more important than any training you have, but you have most likely worked in a reception or similar before.

Sometimes it happens that twenty-five guests check out five minutes before the train leaves, so you should be able handle stress and be well-organized. And also inventive from time to time. In addition, you speak English and German. The job is 80%, so you have enough time to ski three or four days a week. Staff accommodation is available. Work period: End of November – April.

Snow-loving, German speaking, outstanding waiters/waitresses wanted!

Now we are looking for more waiters and waitresses who love food, wine and making guests happy. If you read our guest reviews on Tripadvisor.com, you will notice how important the restaurant is for our guests, and we want to excel even further this year.

You are good at handling stress, have experience and a genuine interest in food and wine. Your personality and ability to make guests feel at home is the most important, but you need to have waiting experience or training as well. It is also important for us that you love being in the mountains, skiing or snowboarding.

You speak English and German. The position is 80%, so you will have time to ski three or four days a week. Staff Accommodation is available. Work period: End of November – April.

Assistant Hotel Manager Now we are looking for a new superstar to be an assistant hotel manager at Ski Lodge. You will work together with Hotel Manager Matilda and be responsible for the daily operations of the hotel. Your responsibilities will be:

– Guest relations – Scheduling for breakfast, cleaning and reception staff – Taking reservations – Some accounting, pay invoices and bills.

In addition, you and Matilda also work with the contacts with the authorities, recruitment, events and financial planning.

You have previously worked in hotel/similar business, and are a natural leader who has previous experience of coaching a team. You are flexible, handle stress well and ready to get your hands dirty when needed. You have studied at least two years service management/business are interested in developing your professional role.

The position is at 100%, and you speak English and German. You will be included in the management team of the hotel along with Head of Kitchen and Head of Bar. The employment period is from November 15 2010 – May 1st 2011.
