Cambian Cedars is a 22 bed hospital supporting adult males with learning disabilities.
Job Profile
Working with individuals in our care you will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual service users’ person centred care plans. Additionally you will support empowerment of the service users with particular regard to their dignity, rights and advice.
The working hours are 42 hours per week, on a shift pattern which will involve weekends, days and nights and bank holidays.
Candidate Profile
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills. Individuals should be have an understanding of the latest nursing practices as well as the local and national agenda’s that impact on nursing practice and patient care.
In return we will offer you clinical supervision, regular appraisal, training and development and we ensure Continuing Professional Development. We provide 4 weeks holiday plus bank holiday entitlement, free uniforms, parking and meals are provided.
Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
